Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I have landed as a documentary style wedding photographer and for awesome couples across Australia.
Originally from the ‘burbs of Brissy, I have had a long running love affair with photography from the day I was gifted my first film camera by my folks when I was 12 years old. I would fill roll after roll of film of my friends, pets, family holidays and selfies before selfies were even a thing.
I followed my passion for film through my high school days and once I graduated, I hit the road for the big open spaces of Outback Queensland. The bush, woolsheds and life with a shearer is where I spent the next 15 years of my life. I filled my days working in agriculture and documenting how vastly different and adventurous my life was from my city days with my camera. There weren’t many days that weren’t recorded on my camera.
I’ll fast forward 15 years of my life for you and fill you in on the events that shaped my career and life. They were becoming a mother to the coolest little dude I have ever met, Travis and travelling across Oz for 2 years shooting, mumming and living a nomadic lifestyle. The pandemic hit, I settled briefly in south-west Queensland. I have now come full circle, back to my roots and have landed back in good ol’ Brisbane with my little man and camera gear in tow.
